OK, so I published the first day on August 2. For some reason it didn’t want to publish my article the day before and I had to do it over the mobile app. And the same thing happened yesterday.
First RPG gamemaster?
Technically myself. It took a few years before I actually experienced playing with a different gamemaster than myself. I got the DSA beginner box on my 12th birthday I think, and I managed to get some games in, but the first actual game where I didn’t GM was a Midgard game (the German RPG, not the unrelated English-language game that came out a few years ago) during one of the roleplaying cons in Bayreuth. MainCon it was called at least for a bit, on account of the Red Main flowing through Bayreuth.
I don’t have a clue if this still is happening, but I’d be surprised if it did. I only am in thst town every few months, but it seems kind of dead to me RPG-wise. I guess all the active players graduated university and moved away, or something. At times there used to be multiple RPG stores in that town, by now the selection seems to be limited to half a shelf in the comics store.
Anyway. First GM: no clue about his name, we dungeon crawled a rather basic scenario. I guess I was lucky I played more games that day.
